The sixth episode in the Commander Keen saga. Billy must once again don his helmet to save Molly McMire , his babysitter who has been kidnapped by the Bloogs of Fribbulus Xax.
The Bloogstar Rocket will allow Keen to get past the forcefield and travel to the area where Molly McMire is being held. First Keen must find the Bloogstar Rocket Passcard to use the rocket though.

Bridge Other
Some switches control the existence of bridges, to enable Keen to get from one place to another. Bridges can also be deactivated when an enemy is standing on one, with interesting results.
These can take you over dangerous areas, but don't let them smash you into walls! The Melon Mines contain railway tracks on which Canteloupe Carts zoom back and forth. Keen may ride on them safely, but don't let him get run over!

Watch your surroundings for clues on what Commander Keen must do to finish the level. The clues will lead you to the end of the level usually.

Color Key Doors Other
Commander Keen must open these doors with colored keys or gems.
A legendary giant stone foot that materializes from the union of twelve inchworms, and carries Keen to the bonus level (Pyramid of the Forbidden) in the Shadowlands.

Frozen Keen Other
If you get shot by the Ice Cannon, you will turn into a frozen keen in a block of ice! Harmless, for the ice melts after a few seconds.
Nasty-looking faces on the walls of Castle Tuberia. When they poke their tongues out, Keen can stand on them.

The fourth episode in the Commander Keen Saga, and first in the Goodbye Galaxy! series. Keen must rescue council members from various enemies to find out what the Shikadi and Gannalech are up to.

Goodbye Galaxy!: The Armageddon Machine Other
The fifth episode in the Commander Keen Saga, and second and last in the Goodbye Galaxy! series. Keen must stop the Shikadi from destroying the Galaxy by disabling the Omegamatic.
These signs mark the most hazardous areas of Fribbulus Xax. Travelling through the hazard areas is not necessary to complete the game, but will let you rack up extra points and add hours of challenge and enjoyment to the game.

Impossible Bullet Other
A bug in Keen 6 that allows Keen to fly on top of his bullets. "Jump; as you fall, look down and shoot. This may take a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, keen will 'ride' his bullet to the ground. He'll actually land just above the floor. That's good! Don't move! Look down. Then quickly look up and shoot! Suddenly keen is propelled into the air by his own bullet! Don't believe me? Try it!" - Br1ck

Impossible Pogo Trick Other
If you run left or right, then quickly press pogo and jump in succession, you blast off at an angle.

A game on Keen's ComputerWrist that you can play. You are a bar, and you have to block a ball and get it past your opponent.

Platform Other
Platforms are a major convenience- even a necessity on Fribbulus Xax. In most places they are used to transport you over dangerous obstacles, or to places out of reach. Many of the platforms(or "plats" as the locals call them) are still the old style which are operated by Bips. Other types of platforms occur on other planets as well.
A swastika made of pipes was put in the original version of Keen V, in the Energy Flow Systems level to foreshadow iD Software's next project, "Wolfenstein 3D". This Nazi symbol was removed from later versions of Keen V due to complaints

Switches Other
Switches in Keen 1 and 3 only control lights and bridges; switches in Keen 4-6 only activate/deactivate platforms and bridges. Switches in K6 can be jumped or pogoed off, just as they are flicked downwards.
Keen 1 and Keen 3: The teleporters found on the maps of the games and teleport you to other locations. Keen 5: A teleportation device is hidden in the Gravitational Damping Hub of Keen 5. It leads to the bonus level on the planet of Korath III, the Secret Korath III Base. There is another return-teleporter on the map of Korath III. Keen 6: A teleporter that teleports you to an "underground" portion of Keen VI. Keen GBC: When Commander Keen uses one of these, he pops out of another one in a different area of the level in Keen GBC.
Statues of Yorps or Gargs spread throughout levels in Keen 1 that will give you hints or meaningless thoughts when touched.

The proposed trilogy of Commander Keen that never quite got off the ground. The Trilogy was called the Universe is Toast and would have been Keen Episodes 7-9. The project was mainly shelved by ID due to more popular games like Doom and Wolfenstein 3D.
